Inspired by the liberating potential of chance operations in art-making, Haiku Dreams integrates dice, cut-up dream transcriptions, and time-based constraints to produce interdisciplinary works, including poetry, songs, recordings, and watercolors.

The question is asked: How do constraints in an artistic practice, provided through chance operations, facilitate art-making as a process of individuation and healing?

Presented as recording, live performance, or lecture, the project investigates synchronicity, the transcendent function, and healing potential through creative practice. All songs were composed using rolls of dice to determine lyrics, chords, rhythms, tempos, and instrumentation at every crossroads of the process.
